Job summary

Clemson University in Charleston, SC is looking for a Lab Technician to assist the Vegetable & Strawberry Entomologist and the lab team with laboratory, greenhouse and field research.

You will coordinate experiments, collect and enter data, maintain insect colonies and research plants, and help ensure safety and proper inventory. This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting ongoing agricultural research projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in animal husbandry, agriculture or related field required.
• Experience in agricultural research or animal care preferred.
• Work experience may substitute for degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field, greenhouse and laboratory experiments.
• Collect and enter data for ongoing projects.
