Job summary

Syngenta Seeds Field Crops is seeking a Scientist to support the insectary control program, conducting plant-based evaluations of GM/GE crops in greenhouse and growth chambers. You will execute bioassays, analyze results, and communicate findings to drive research decisions in a safe, compliant environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration across scientists and cross-functional teams, with duties including routine planting, sampling, pollination, and pest management in a team that values safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Science, Entomology, Agronomy, Biology, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline.
• Experience conducting plant-based research, bioassays, or controlled environment experiments in greenhouse/growth chamber settings.
• Knowledge of plant biology, insect-plant interactions, and biotech research methodologies.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings clearly.
• Commitment to HSE policies and procedures.
