Job summary

Farm Credit East is seeking a summer intern to work with our professionals across the Northeast. You will gain hands-on experience in financial services, credit services and crop insurance while supporting customer visits and strategic projects.

We place interns across our territory (NY, VT, CT, ME) for a 10-week program, with a presentation to leaders at the end. Applicants should be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Junior year student with expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned strategic project and present to executive leadership.
• Learn about and complete tasks in various departments including credit, tax and accounting, appraisal, crop insurance.
• Participate in customer visits and job shadowing opportunities.
• Be an active listener and communicate effectively.
• Always maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Travel to different regions within the FCE territory.
