Job summary

Pape’ Machinery, Inc. – Agriculture & Turf Division in Robbins, CA is hiring a Field Mechanic to service agricultural equipment at customer sites, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably agriculture equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to work weekends during peak seasons; must provide own tools.

What You’ll Do

As a Field Mechanic, you will work on Agriculture equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

What You Need

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably Agriculture equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred.
• Ability to work weekends during peak seasons (March-May and August-October) is highly desired!
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation

$34.48-51.72/hr (Depending on Experience)
