Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Field Mechanic to join their team in Robbins, CA. You will travel to customer locations, diagnose and repair heavy agriculture equipment, and ensure uptime with exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably Agriculture equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to work weekends during peak seasons is highly desired.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on Agriculture equipment at customer locations to ensure peak performance and uptime.
• Travel in a fully loaded service vehicle to perform top-notch work and interact with customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Field Mechanic, you will work on Agriculture equipment at customer locations to ensure that their equipment is running in peak form and maximizing uptime. Every day, picture yourself traveling the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, performing top-notch work on equipment, interacting with customers, and knowing that they can count on you to get the job done right.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, preferably Agriculture equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation and
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred.
• Ability to work weekends during peak seasons (March-May and August-October) is highly desired!
• Must provide own tools.

Compensation: $34.48-51.72/hr (Depending on Experience)
