California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom (CFAITC) is seeking a Curriculum Developer to create hands-on, standards-aligned lessons linking agriculture to core subjects for K–12 classrooms. You will independently manage projects, collaborate with farmers and educators, and help prepare resources for publication and distribution.

You will also develop workshops and educational materials for teacher professional development, support grant-funded initiatives, and coordinate classroom

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, food, natural resources, environmental sciences, education, or related fields.
• Valid California teaching credentials.
• At least two years of classroom teaching experience beyond student teaching; five years preferred.
• Strong understanding of California K–12 standards (Common Core and NGSS).
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and professional relationships independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related digital tools.

• Own your projects: Independently manage curriculum projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with industry experts to ensure resources are accurate and relevant.
• Coordinate classroom pilot testing and gather educator feedback.
• Develop and facilitate workshops and materials for teacher professional development.
• Prepare curriculum for design, publication, and distribution; support grant-funded projects.
