Job summary

Wilbur-Ellis is seeking a Credit Analyst II to join our team in Montana. You will support senior staff in underwriting large agricultural accounts, conduct financial analysis, and manage the accounts receivable portfolio from origination through collection.

Responsibilities include evaluating creditworthiness, reviewing financial statements, drafting security documents, and assisting with risk management in compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of credit analysis or related experience.
• Strong financial statement and cash flow analysis skills.
• Knowledge of credit underwriting and risk assessment.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and inform decisions.
• Familiarity with risk management and company credit policies.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or agriculture-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct thorough credit reviews and provide underwriting recommendations.
• Consolidate and analyze customer financial and tax information to support credit decisions.
• Draft security agreements and UCC-1 filings and perform lien priority analysis.
• Support collections by identifying assets tied to past-due accounts.
• Communicate with Credit Managers and the Director of Credit and Financing.
• Assist with portfolio management, financial reporting, data analysis from origination through collection.
