Job summary

Corteva Agriscience in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a scientist/engineer passionate about agriculture to join the Application Technology R&D group. You will lead cross-functional efforts to develop and launch formulated crop protection products, translating lab findings into field-ready solutions.

The role requires a multidisciplinary approach, strong communication, and project leadership across teams, with up to 20% travel to meet regional agricultural needs and industry standards.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field with 0–3 years of work experience.
• Experience with agricultural application equipment, designing & prototyping purpose-built equipment, and troubleshooting lab to pilot scale processing issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with formulation, analytical, greenhouse biologists, and field R&D scientists to develop new formulated products.
• Design and execute lab experiments to mimic real-world application scenarios and assess risks.
• Develop new methodologies to assess efficacy and crop safety of formulated products.
• Provide in-season customer support and educational programs to stakeholders.
• Engage with external partners and standards bodies to influence product delivery and storage practices.
