Job summary

AgCredit Findlay, OH is seeking an Account Officer to serve local farm customers by evaluating creditworthiness and structuring loans within delegated authority. You will work with Marketing to develop growth strategies and member programs, while compiling reports for supervision.

The role requires collaboration with colleagues, strong communication, and the ability to engage clients on-site at their operations across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Economics, or Finance.
• 2–3 years of agricultural lending sales or marketing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and decision‑making skills.
• Familiarity with financial databases and spreadsheets.
• Willingness to travel and engage with clients on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage loan portfolio: structure credit, review financials, assess borrower status.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies with Marketing and member programs.
• Generate leads, expand client base, maintain existing relationships.
• Represent AgCredit at local agriculture events and community activities.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth loan processing and office operations.
