Job summary

Ziegler CAT is seeking a full-time, experienced Technician to service agricultural equipment. You will diagnose and repair tractors, combines, planters, and more, while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, customer interaction, and teamwork across a busy service department. Starting pay ranges from $27 to $45 per hour, commensurate with skills and location, with full-time benefits including health/dental/vision, PTO, 9 holidays, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED with several years of shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Own mechanic tool set.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures.
• Follows standard operating procedures; attends formal training.
• Maintains paperwork documentation of work performed (work orders) and ensures billing accuracy.
