Job summary

Ziegler CAT in Missouri seeks a full-time, experienced Technician to service agricultural equipment including tractors, combines and planters. You will diagnose and repair equipment, follow safety procedures, and support customers with timely service.

A 2-year technical degree or equivalent, plus 2+ years of diesel repair experience, is expected; AGCO/Versatile experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, holidays, 401(k)

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• AGCO or Versatile product experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment including tractors, combines, balers, sprayers, tillage equipment, and planters.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Clean and organize equipment.
• Attend formal training.
• Assist to prepare new equipment for rent or sale.
• Provide assistance to all other levels of technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain paperwork documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner.
