James River Equipment in Rock Hill, SC is seeking EXPERIENCED technicians familiar or certified with agricultural equipment for our Rock Hill location. The role involves performing diagnostics and repairs on ag equipment, maintaining shop and inventory, and compiling necessary reports with strict safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with heavy equipment, ag/turf machinery, or diesel systems, plus a willingness to learn through ongoing training and certification programs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, preferably heavy equipment or ag/turf equipment.
• Valid driver's license with ability to be insured on company policy.
• DOT medical card required for field technicians.
• Coachability and willingness to learn through continued training.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and established products.
• Prepares reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains condition of shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Complete disassembly and inspection to order parts and schedule machine work promptly.
• Maintain records and account for all time, parts, and supplies used.
