Job summary

The role requires building strong customer relationships, maintaining product knowledge, and conducting field demonstrations to showcase new equipment while monitoring competitive activity. Flexible hours may be required, and a degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment sales experience preferred.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office and the internet.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
• Monitors competitive activity/products and communicates to management.
• Maintains sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory.
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
• Monitors trends in customer business activities and communicates to management.
• Maintains knowledge of used equipment values and financing options.
• Attends sales training events/seminars.
