Job summary

Bish Enterprises in Kentucky is seeking Assembly and Maintenance team members to assemble manufactured components and provide internal maintenance for our equipment. You will deliver parts to customers and support refurbishment projects.

The role is full-time with mostly Monday–Friday hours, with overtime during busy seasons. We offer a competitive pay range of $16.50–$21 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Owns mechanic toolset appropriate for the work required.
• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of Ag, Automotive, & Lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains good condition and cleanliness of company vehicles inventory, tools, and equipment, including the return of tools to storage areas.
• Follows all company and common-sense safety policies, while using all required personal safety equipment.
• Performs basic / complex diagnostics on agricultural / construction / diesel equipment, determining repairs needed and/or recommended for future maintenance.
• Completes all service reports and forms; uses computers/tablets for data entry; ensures accurate timekeeping for job costing.
• Performs repairs on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel equipment as requested; ensures quality work and efficiency goals.
• Participates in job-related training and development; contributes to skill improvement.
• Works with technicians, parts, and sales personnel; mentors apprentices and junior technicians; may work after hours.
