Equipment Assembly Technician (Not Assembly Line)

ACI Distributors is a leading importer and wholesale distributor providing short-line equipment to agriculture dealerships throughout the Midwest and Gulf States.

We're searching for a full-time technician to work at our main facility in St. Charles, MO assembling new hay equipment (header wagons, hay rakes, tedders, etc.) before it is sent out to dealerships.

Training on the products will be provided. Use skills to take ownership of each project providing quality workmanship. This is not "assembly line."

Responsibilities

• Carry out general assembly procedures.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprint specification, and parts lists.
• Verify specifications, interpret measurements, and assemble equipment components as instructed in guide materials.
• Check and double check work and correct any assembly problems.
• Take responsibility for quality and workmanship.
• Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures.
• Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Must live local to the St. Charles/St. Louis area prior to joining organization.
• Related work experience (autos, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, or similar).
• Self-starter with good decision making, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to work independently while still part of shop team.
• Effectively operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to (or learn how to) operate a forklift.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule

• Full time
• Monday - Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
