Job summary

Oxbo Forage Division is seeking a self-motivated engineer to lead the electrical and hydraulic system development for our agricultural machinery. You will design, validate and document solutions, collaborate with software and mechanical teams, and troubleshoot fielded equipment.

This role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, safety, and quality, with responsibilities from schematics to BOMs, and on-site support for customers and production teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience completing projects in electrical and hydraulic domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control/Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Core experience: Zuken E3, Windchill/Solidworks PDM, 3D routing tools
• CAN bus, J1939 (ISOBUS/ISO11783 preferred); Codebeamer/Polarion; Office tools.
• Domain: Agricultural machinery, off-highway, automotive, or mechatronic systems.
• Language: English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic and electrical systems to meet product requirements.
• Solve problems as they relate to these systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers on system requirements.
• Create and maintain electrical/hydraulic schematics in E3 and SolidWorks/Creo.
• Design 3D routings with Mechanical Engineers and define attachment points.
• Investigate and troubleshoot prototypes and machines at customer sites.
• Contribute to R&D projects to improve the work processes.
• Ensure production and installation drawings meet specifications.
• Create and maintain BOMs, options and variants for electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Assist production with technical challenges and supply issues.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment related to the hydraulic field.
