Job summary

Louisiana State University seeks applicants for a 12-month Instructor position in the College of Agriculture. This 100% teaching and advising role will involve delivering three 3‑credit hour courses in the fall and spring semesters, while supervising student teachers and advising undergraduates.

The incumbent will also participate in recruitment efforts, serve on committees, and provide professional development to Louisiana agriscience teachers. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• MS in Agricultural Education, Adult Education, or closely related discipline.
• 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach three 3-credit hour courses in fall and spring semesters.
• Supervise student teachers; advise undergraduate students; participate in recruitment of undergraduate and graduate students; serve on departmental, college, and university committees; provide professional development training and support to Louisiana agriscience teachers.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
