Job summary

Butler Machinery Company in Fremont, NE is hiring a Diesel Service Technician. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and systems, troubleshoot hydraulics, electricals and powertrains, with overtime paid at 1.5x beyond 8 hours daily.

We offer a full-time role with a pay scale of $32.73–$53.03 per hour DOE, plus generous benefits and retirement options. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agriculture equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting hydraulics, electrical, power trains, etc.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x for >8 hours/day.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work independently and as part of a high performing team.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and training.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Travel to other Butler locations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
