Job summary

Butler Machinery is seeking a Diesel Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain agricultural equipment. The role supports continuous learning in a family-owned dealership with a strong safety culture and opportunities for overtime.

The position offers a competitive hourly pay scale ($32.73 to $53.03 per hour, DOE) with a $2/hour differential for the Evening Shift, plus a comprehensive benefits package and 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Proficient with basic mechanical theory and diagnostics.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new product updates.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on agriculture equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; work independently or in a team.
• Travel to Butler and customer locations as needed.
