Job summary

Minnwest Bank in Minnesota is seeking an Ag Lender (Business Banker) to manage a credit portfolio and drive agricultural and commercial lending relationships. This full‑time role emphasizes serving customers and cross‑selling deposit and cash management services from an in‑office location in Waseca, MN.

You will originate and service ag and commercial loans, work with other bankers, and guide clients with expertise in lending guidelines and loan policy.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years' agricultural lending experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Formal credit training or equivalent.
• Ability to analyze complex balance sheets, income statement ratios, and cash flow statements.
• Sales Prospecting, Planning and Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships, sustaining high quality loan growth and cross-selling bank products.
• Prepare accurate credit write‑ups and loan presentations for loan committee.
• Manage an existing loan portfolio of $20-40 million and monitor delinquencies.
• Coordinate with loan operations, credit analysts and other support teams.
• Represent the bank professionally to promote the institution and engage with communities.
