Job summary

Incobrasa Industries is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Gilman, IL to coordinate and optimize movement of soybeans and biodiesel products. You will manage inbound/outbound freight, carrier relations, and inventory documentation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in logistics coordination, a related degree is preferred, and you will work on-site with compliance to DOT and safety regulations. Applicants must pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience working with logistics/transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced industrial facility.
• Background check and drug screening required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Freight & shipment coordination: plan, schedule, and track inbound/outbound freight via trucks, rail, or barges to ensure timely deliveries.
• Carrier management: daily communication with freight carriers, dispatchers, and drivers to resolve delays.
• Inventory & systems management: use ERP or cargo software to manage documentation and update inventory logs.
• Scale House & Plant collaboration: coordinate with scale attendants and production staff for intake and distribution of materials.
• Regulatory compliance: follow DOT guidelines and safety regulations for transport of industrial products.
• Problem resolution: identify and resolve transit issues and driver concerns under supervision.
