Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to recruit and train agents.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry and crops in the territory.
• Knowledge of Rain and Hail’s products, services and systems.
• Familiarity with crop insurance program rules and regulations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers and partners.
• Willingness to travel and relocate if required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Increase market share by recruiting and contracting qualified new agents.
• Train new and current agents on marketing techniques, products, services, and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to stimulate sales.
• Maintain communications with farm groups and agricultural organizations; may coordinate and speak at farm meetings.
• Communicate company policy and procedures to agents.
• Communicate territory issues to division management.
• Investigating and resolving complaints from agents/insured in an assigned territory.
• Aiding in collection of outstanding premium balances.
• Supervising and training Field Representative and Insurance Specialist in the territory.
• Attending industry sponsored seminars, field days, etc. as directed by division management.
• Assists with other duties as necessary.
