Job summary

University at Buffalo invites applicants for a full-time 12-month clinical faculty position in the DNP AGNP program. Responsibilities include teaching in classroom and online settings, mentoring students in clinical and simulated environments, and collaborating on admissions and clinical placements.

We seek candidates with a PhD or DNP, current NY RN license, AGNP/ANP certification, and at least 3 years of AGNP/ANP practice. Commitment to diversity and scholarly activity is expected.

Qualifications

• PhD or DNP from a regionally accredited School of Nursing.
• Current national AGNP or ANP certification.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Minimum 3 years’ AGNP/ANP practice experience.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom and online didactic content.
• Mentor, supervise, and evaluate students in clinical and simulated environments.
• Assist during admissions with application review and orientation.
• Collaborate with clinical placement to secure outpatient sites for students.
• Perform practicum site visits to assess student progress and maintain preceptor relationships.
• Contribute to safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care across learning environments.
