Job summary

KBR in Huntsville, AL seeks an experienced AGMS Simulation Engineer to develop, maintain, and validate high-fidelity models and simulations for HELLFIRE and JAGM systems. You will support weapon integration on aviation and ground platforms and contribute to test planning and lifecycle engineering decisions.

The role requires strong M&S experience, collaboration across engineering teams, and the ability to communicate complex results to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• Experience with digital modeling and simulation (M&S).

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine physics-based models, digital twins, and system simulations for HELLFIRE and JAGM missile guidance, propulsion, sensors, and terminal engagement behavior.
• Perform simulation-based performance analysis to support design evaluations, software updates, and system improvements.
• Conduct verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) of models in accordance with DoD standards.
• Analyze flight test and ground test data to calibrate and improve simulation fidelity.
• Support lethality, survivability, and operational effectiveness studies.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, test, software, and platform integration teams to ensure simulation tools reflect weapon capabilities and interfaces.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and briefings for leadership and review boards.
