Ochsner Health is seeking an Agile Transformation Program Manager to facilitate the agile transformation of Journey Teams, ensuring effective role adaptation and project management. This role requires significant experience in project management and agile practices, aiming to enhance delivery and collaboration within the healthcare sector.
We've made a lot of progress since opening the doors in 1942, but one thing has never changed - our commitment to serve, heal, lead, educate, and innovate. We believe that every award earned, every record broken, and every patient helped is because of the dedicated employees who fill our hallways.
At Ochsner, whether you work with patients every day or support those who do, you are making a difference, and that matters. Come make a difference at Ochsner Health and discover your future today!
This role is dedicated to the agile transformation of Ochsner Journey Teams. In consultation with other experienced agile experts at Ochsner, via an Agile CoE model, the Agile Transformation Program Manager is the central coach, trainer, and program manager dedicated to improving how Ochsner’s Connected Health organization delivers customer solutions through Journey Teams.
Ochsner’s Journey Teams are evolving. We started with a few last year, and we are scaling up the next 4–6 Journeys. This isn’t a cookie-cutter Scrum rollout; it involves introducing agile concepts, ceremonies, and key roles to engineering teams, with a focus on adaptability and internal promotion. Many employees have transitioned into new roles with this new way of working. The development team members are typically Epic EHR Analysts, not full-stack engineers.
Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, health science, or related field.
Required: 7 years of project management experience.
Required: PMP or equivalent (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Master Change Agent, Agile Project Management, Program Management Professional).
The above is a general overview and not exhaustive. Duties and skills may evolve.
Ochsner is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability.
Frequently exerting 10-20 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds. Accommodations available for disabilities.
