Job summary

AF Group is seeking a Scrum Master to coach and facilitate one or more agile teams, ensuring high-quality product delivery and efficient SDLC execution. You will act as a liaison between delivery teams, product management and leadership, ensuring priorities are clear and blockers are resolved swiftly.

You will lead sprint ceremonies, foster self-organizing teams, and work with product managers to optimize performance and metrics. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline is required.
• Certification toward CSM or SSM is highly preferred and encouraged.
• Seven years of progressive responsibility as a scrum master/agile PM in an insurance environment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Leads agile teams as Scrum Master and team member, coaching and guiding delivery.
• Facilitates sprint planning, daily standups, demos and retrospectives.
• Ensures a robust, prioritized backlog with product managers and owners.
• Coordinates cross-team dependencies and communicates status to stakeholders.
• Escalates issues requiring executive attention and supports organizational initiatives.
