Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position: Scrum Master/Agile Coach

Location: Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and a proven track record of successfully implementing Agile practices in various environments. This role is crucial in guiding teams through the Agile transformation process, ensuring that Agile principles are adhered to, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, practices, and values to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide guidance on Agile best practices and frameworks to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Measure and report on team performance metrics to drive improvements.
  • Support the organization in its Agile transformation journey by providing training and workshops.
  • Act as a servant leader, fostering an environment of trust and respect.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Lean, or SAFe.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP ACC), or equivalent.
  • Experience in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7 10 years of experience in Agile project management or coaching.
  • Proven track record of leading Agile transformations in organizations.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

Salary/Rate:

Subcon Rate: USD 55 USD 65

Full-time: The pay range for this role is CAD115k CAD120k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Tech Mahindra also offers benefits like medical, vision, dental, life, disability insurance and paid time off (including holidays, parental leave, and sick leave, as required by law).
