Job summary

Groundswell is hiring a Business Analyst to support an Agile software development team for the Department of Transportation. You will gather, document, and validate requirements, translate business needs into clear user stories, and support implementation, testing, and change management throughout the lifecycle.

You will work with customers, product owners, developers, testers, and support teams to ensure traceability, manage scope, and resolve issues.

Qualifications

Experience in an Agile software development environment.
Experience eliciting, gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
Experience developing and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and related artifacts.
Experience coordinating requirements reviews and obtaining stakeholder agreement or sign-off.

Responsibilities

Elicit, gather, analyze, and document customer requirements and user stories.
Produce detailed, testable requirements documentation with acceptance criteria.
Coordinate reviews of requirements and obtain sign-off from stakeholders.
Validate requirements with customers and other appropriate stakeholders.
Support QA and UAT by developing test scenarios and tracking defects.
Use Jira and Atlassian tools to manage requirements, stories, tasks, defects, and project information.
