Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Agile Release Train Engineer to drive program execution across multiple delivery teams.

You will create and maintain Kanban boards, coordinate with application managers, product owners, architects, and stakeholders, and produce dashboards and status reports for leadership.

Strong communication, governance, and hands-on tracking of milestones, risks, issues, and blockers are essential to keep the train aligned and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodology and Kanban.
• Experience managing Kanban boards for multiple delivery teams.
• Coordinate with application managers, product owners, architects, stakeholders, and teams.
• Track work items, milestones, risks, issues, and action items.
• Governance, status reporting, meeting coordination, and documentation management.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Office, and MS Teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and leadership progress reports.
• Support governance through accurate documentation, reporting, and escalation of blockers.
• Work with multiple teams to keep priorities aligned and activities on track.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodology, Kanban framework, and project coordination practices.
• Experience in creating, managing, and maintaining Kanban boards for multiple application or delivery teams.
• Ability to coordinate with application managers, product owners, architects, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Hands‑on experience in tracking work items, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
• Knowledge of project governance, status reporting, meeting coordination, and documentation management.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Teams.
• Excellent communication, follow-up, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with application managers, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
• Create, update, and maintain Kanban boards to track team activities, backlog items, priorities, dependencies, and delivery progress.
• Track change requests, project tasks, milestones, risks, issues, and action items until closure.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare meeting notes, document decisions, and follow up on pending items with stakeholders.
• Prepare status updates, dashboards, and progress reports for leadership and application teams.
• Support delivery governance by ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting, and escalation of blockers or risks.
• Work proactively with multiple teams to ensure priorities are aligned and project activities remain on track.

Salary Range- $90,000-$105,000 a year
