Job summary

TRIAEM seeks an experienced Agile Program Manager to lead a large, dispersed professional services program supporting the U.S. Army.

You will oversee enterprise Agile execution, backlog governance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across multiple teams and mission organizations. The role requires translating Government priorities into measurable work, allocating resources across teams as needs change, and using Jira and Agile metrics to manage execution in real time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of program or project management experience, including at least 3 years in the last 5 years.
• Demonstrated experience scaling Agile across multiple teams.
• Current, recognized advanced Agile certification or credential.
• Hands-on experience using Jira to manage backlogs, capacity, velocity, and dashboards.
• Demonstrated experience using Agile metrics to identify performance problems and drive improvement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a complex enterprise environment.
• Ability to communicate with senior Government leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• TS/SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior program lead for Agile execution and delivery.
• Lead and scale Agile practices across multiple teams and organizations.
• Manage the enterprise backlog, capacity, resource allocation, and prioritization.
• Establish and maintain Agile governance processes.
• Monitor velocity, cycle time, capacity, flow, blockers, and other metrics.
• Develop Jira dashboards for executive, program, and team decision-making.
• Use data to identify performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Lead sprint and PI planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, and risk management.
• Coordinate resources across dispersed locations.
• Support workforce continuity and onboarding/offboarding.
• Lead executive program reviews and communicate status, risks, and actions.
• Ensure Agile processes align to measurable mission outcomes.

Status: Contingent upon contract award

TRIAEM is seeking an experienced Agile Program Manager (APM) to lead a large, geographically dispersed professional services program supporting the U.S. Army. The APM will oversee enterprise Agile execution, workforce and capacity management, backlog governance, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across multiple teams and mission organizations.

The successful candidate will translate Government priorities into measurable work, allocate resources across teams as needs change, and use Jira and Agile performance data to manage execution in real time.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of qualifying program or project management experience, including at least 3 years within the last 5 years
• Demonstrated experience scaling Agile across multiple teams

Key Responsibilities

• Use objective data to identify performance issues and implement measurable corrective actions.
• Lead sprint and PI planning, backlog refinement, dependency management, risk management, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate technical and functional resources across geographically dispersed locations.
• Support workforce continuity, staffing changes, onboarding, offboarding, and resource reallocation.
• Lead executive program reviews and communicate status, risks, constraints, and recommended actions.
• Ensure Agile processes support measurable mission outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC), Release Train Engineer (RTE), or comparable advanced Agile credential
• Experience supporting the DoD, Army, Intelligence Community, or other Federal agencies
• Experience managing large, geographically dispersed professional services teams
• Experience with Jira Align and Confluence
• Experience managing Agile Release Trains, PI Planning, and enterprise transformation
• Experience working with cleared personnel and highly technical, multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with Government acquisition, systems engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, or mission support environments
