Job summary

IBSS Corp. seeks qualified candidates to provide Agile program and project management services for NOAA's Modeling Moonshot Initiative, a multi-year effort with substantial software components.

The role focuses on cross‑program coordination, governance, risk and action tracking, and the preparation of status reports and dashboards to keep deliverables traceable. The role supports cross-team coordination and documentation for a multi-year initiative advancing NWP through GPU-accelerated modeling

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• 5–7 years in the technical area and 5+ years IT management experience.
• Strong ability to coordinate day-to-day activities and organize delivery work.
• Proficient in technical writing, editing, facilitation, and stakeholder comms.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Google Workspace and Smartsheet structures and templates.
• Support program framework, living roadmap, comms plan, and reporting calendar.
• Maintain risks, actions, issues, dependencies, decisions, and lessons.
• Schedule meetings, prepare pre-reads, record decisions, and track actions.
• Prepare Monthly Program Status Reports and dashboard updates from source data.
• Perform document control and quality reviews for completeness and traceability.
• Assist with cross-project coordination and process improvements.
