Job summary

Corning is seeking a Digital & IT Intern, Analyst, Agile & Product Operations for Summer 2027 in Corning, NY. The role is within the IT function and focuses on Agile delivery, product operations, and cross-functional collaboration. Ten weeks in May–August 2027, with housing/travel assistance and a final project presentation are included.

The intern will facilitate team ceremonies, track delivery metrics, partner with the Product Owner, and help organize work to deliver value for customers.

Qualifications

• Student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and business concepts quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and facilitation of Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist the team with organizing, tracking, and following up on commitments and action items.
• Develop and maintain team metrics, dashboards, and status reporting.
• Partner with the Product Owner and team members to support backlog readiness and delivery planning.
• Help identify impediments, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Document meeting outcomes, decisions, processes, and working agreements.
• Support stakeholder communication and preparation of project or product updates.
• Contribute to a collaborative, transparent, and improvement-focused team environment.
