Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role focuses on microservices development, AWS-native services, REST services, and CI/CD implementation in an Agile delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and CI Polygraph within 7 years.
• 9 years' relevant experience with a Bachelor's, or 7 years with a Master's.
• Experience with AWS tool suites: OSS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudWatch.
• Experience with at least 3 of these areas: Java/Spring Boot/Python; Microservices; CI/CD tools (AWS, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible); NoSQL/MongoDB/DynamoDB; OAuth/OIDC; Cypress/Cucumber.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
