Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks an Agile Developer 1 to modernize a legacy system with microservices on AWS. You will develop Java Spring Boot microservices, optimize AWS services with Python, and build RESTful interfaces while following CI/CD practices in an Agile setting.

The role requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (CI Polygraph within 7 years) and a related degree with minimum experience; strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, CI Polygraph within last 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years of experience or Master's with 1 year; PhD with 1 year.
• Experience with microservice architectures and cloud-native development.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Python for AWS-native services.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservices on AWS.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, EC2, S3.
• Build REST services capable of complex data object filtering.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and collaboration with stakeholders.
