Job summary

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is seeking an experienced Agile Developer - Microservices in Maryland. The role involves building Java/Spring Boot microservices on AWS, using Python to optimize AWS services, and implementing CI/CD with Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.

On-call rotation is required, with a strong emphasis on agile delivery and collaboration. Qualifications include TS/SCI Poly with CI poly within the last 7 years and BS + 12 years of experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. federal security clearances and polygraph suitability required (TS/SCI with CI poly within last 7 years).
• Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience building microservices with Java/Spring Boot in AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservices using AWS native technologies.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD practices using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Engage in Agile development and software delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Must be able to support an on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Qualifications

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $250K.
