Job summary

Power3 Solutions seeks an experienced Agile Developer - Tester to join the growing team in Maryland. The role focuses on Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, Python optimization of AWS services, and CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps.

The ideal candidate has TS clearance with CI polygraph, a related degree or equivalent experience, and strong testing skills with Cucumber, Cypress and Playwright. On-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 7 years experience.
• Experience with Cucumber, Cypress and Playwright testing.
• Proficiency with AWS tools, Maven, GitLab and GitOps; Kubernetes and Docker.
• Development in cloud environments and experience with rules engines.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications using AWS native tech.
• Use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, S3.
• Build REST services with Spring for complex data filtering.
• Implement CI/CD principles with Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Engage in Agile software delivery and collaborate with team and stakeholders.

** Must be able to support an on-call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
• Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
• Agile development and delivery of software
• Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.

Basic Requirements:

• An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.
• Cucumber Testing
• Cypress and Playwright Testing
• Python
• CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker
• Development in Cloud Environment
• Experience with Rules Engines

The projected compensation range for this position is $180K - $225K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
