Power3 Solutions in Maryland is seeking an experienced Agile Developer to join our rapidly growing team as an Agile Developer L3 - Software Integration Engineer in Annapolis Junction.

You will take end-to-end ownership of integration components, develop APIs, and work hands-on with Java and Python in an AWS environment, including monitoring and production support. On-call rotation and cross-domain collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging multi-language codebases under pressure.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with sprint ceremonies.
• Ability to own end-to-end integration components.
• Experience building services in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own integration components from design to production support.
• Develop integration/APIs; hands-on coding.
• Support on-call rotation and root-cause analysis.
• Review MRs and provide feedback to team.

Ability to support an on-call rotation

• Systematic root cause analysis; can break down a problem into reproducible steps and communicate findings clearly.
• Works effectively with the team (internal and cross domain); comfortable reviewing MRs and providing constructive feedback.
• Takes end to end responsibility for integration components—from design through production support.
• Hands on software development focused on integration, or API centric products.
• Direct experience building and maintaining services in AWS (including production monitoring) i.e. Lambda, OSS, Cloud Watch, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB

Qualifications

• TS/SCI Poly - with CI poly within last 7 years
• BS + 9 years experience

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated ability to debug complex, cross language codebases (Java Python) under pressure (e.g., on call rotations)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with regular sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming.

The projected compensation range for this position is $180K - $225K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
