Job summary

Stratyx is seeking a Microservices Developer to modernize a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture. You will write Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, and use Python to optimize AWS services like Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.

You will build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects and implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps. Work in an Agile team, delivering software with collaboration across stakeholders and a strong focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• 12 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:- Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies- Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3- Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects- Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps- Agile development and delivery of software- Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline.
