Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support modernization of a legacy system with a microservices-based architecture. This role focuses on microservices development, REST services, and CI/CD in an Agile environment.

The candidate will develop Java Spring Boot microservices, implement CI/CD, and collaborate with the team to deliver scalable solutions on-site in Annapolis Junction, MD. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 7 years, or PhD with 7 years.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, CI Polygraph within last 7 years, and U.S. citizenship.
• Experience supporting Agile software development and microservices environments.

Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Agile Developer 3 to support the modernization of a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This role supports microservices development, REST services, and CI/CD implementation in an Agile delivery environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop Java Spring Boot-based microservice applications using AWS native technologies.
• Build REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles using Maven, GitLab, and GitOps.
• Support Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least 2 of the following:
• Java, Spring Boot, or Python.
• Microservice architectures.
• CI/CD tools including AWS tools, Maven, GitLab, GitOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• NoSQL or MongoDB query and schema design.
• OAuth/OIDC implementation.
• Test frameworks and automation including Playwright and Cucumber.

Required Education and Experience Equivalency

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience.
• Master's Degree with 7 years of experience.
• PhD with 7 years of experience.
