Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Scrum Master to energise cross‑functional delivery squads, coach agile practices and promote continuous improvement. You will enable teams to deliver customer value while maintaining quality, security and operational readiness.

Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean and iterative delivery, plus proficiency in Azure DevOps, Jira or Rally, is essential. Travel may be required, and the role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders across technology and the wider Maximus

Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master or equivalent agile delivery qualification.
Agile coaching, Kanban, Lean or DevOps certification desirable.
SAFe or other scaled-delivery certification desirable.
Experience in technology, digital, software engineering or product delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach squads in agile principles and promote self-organisation.
Identify and remove impediments, improve flow and predictability; support capacity and release planning.
Mentor squad members, product owners and stakeholders in agile practices and problem-solving.
Use delivery metrics to identify risks and improve squad performance with dashboards for stakeholders.
Build relationships across technology and the organisation; communicate progress and dependencies effectively.
Promote DevOps, continuous delivery, automation and responsible AI-enabled productivity.
