Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a fast-growing government contractor delivering strategic IT services for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring an Agile Coach to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

The Agile Coach will mentor delivery teams and leaders, drive organizational transformation, facilitate ceremonies and workshops, and establish metrics to keep programs transparent and on track.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies, frameworks, ceremonies, portfolio management, governance, and digital service delivery practices.
  • Understanding of Agile team structures, roles, behaviors, performance metrics, and organizational change management.
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, workshops, and applying Agile practices to improve team performance and delivery.
  • Skilled in establishing Agile processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing delivery activities, and supporting knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to drive organizational adoption of Agile practices and foster a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.
  • Ability to communicate project and program status, define meaningful performance metrics, and guide stakeholders and staff in effective Agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes effective cross-team coordination, program management, governance, and continuous improvement across digital service delivery.
  • Develops internal coaching capabilities and provides executive coaching and strategic guidance to support sustained Agile adoption and organizational maturity.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Scrum Alliance Enterprise Coach or equivalent
  • Relevant certification from nationally recognized technical authority.

Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
