Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm is looking for an Agile Coach to guide Agile transformation and adoption processes. The role involves coaching Scrum teams within a blended on/off‑shore development model and requires excellent documentation and metrics tracking abilities. The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of technology experience, 3+ years of coaching in Agile methodologies, and relevant certifications. Travel throughout the US and internationally is expected.

Position: Agile Coach

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6 Months

Required: SCRUM, Agile Product Lifecycle Management

Responsibilities: Goal of these coaches is to guide and communicate the progress and adoption (using established metrics – Liju would be looking for the candidates to provide examples so he can incorporate to use as the new DTCC standards) in 8–10 week cycles. Scrum Teams are currently aligned in groups of 6–10 with a blended on/off‑shore development model. This is a co-location, multi‑national environment. Sprint cycles are 2 weeks.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE : True consultant approach to agile coaching and agile transformation
• Expectation for excellent documentation and ability to track and keep metrics on adoption and training
• Experience with co‑location enterprise environments and blended on/off‑shore development
• Jira
• Excel, MS Project (any tracking tool used for established documentation)
• AD experience
• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in technology organizations.
• 3+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience with methods such as XP, Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one Agile transformation.
• 2 years of recent consulting experience.
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
• Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of Agile methodologies.
• Comfortable interacting one-on-one with individual technical contributors, senior engineering leaders, as well as coaching teams of engineers and presenting to large groups.
• Experience addressing enterprise issues.
• One or more related certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• Open to travel throughout the US and outside the US.
