Heidelberg Materials is seeking motivated, high-potential individuals to join our Aggregates Management Trainee Program. This 18-24 month developmental program is designed to provide hands‑on experience, operational exposure, and leadership development opportunities across our aggregates business. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of quarry operations, production, maintenance, sales, logistics, safety, and business management while building a foundation for future leadership opportunities.
Rotate through key functional areas of the aggregates business to develop a broad operational understanding. Partner with leaders and teams to support safe, efficient, and productive quarry operations. Analyze operational data and contribute to process improvement initiatives that drive business results. Participate in leadership development, training programs, and cross‑functional projects. Build relationships across the organization while developing the skills needed for future management opportunities.
Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow. Effective communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to work across diverse teams. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making capabilities. Adaptability and willingness to work in various operational environments and geographic locations. Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Combination of field‑based and office‑based work within aggregates operations. Regular interaction with production, maintenance, logistics, sales, and operational leadership teams. Exposure to active quarry environments, including varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and heavy equipment. Travel may be required throughout the program to support training, rotations, and business needs.
