Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a safety-minded quarry operator to run haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment safely and efficiently. You will transport aggregate to designated locations, perform pre-operational inspections, and report equipment concerns promptly to keep production goals on track.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate haul trucks and other mobile equipment safely and efficiently throughout the quarry.
• Transport aggregate materials to designated locations while maintaining production goals.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment concerns promptly.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Support quarry operations through teamwork, housekeeping, and operational assistance as needed.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
