Job summary

Knife River Corporation in the United States is seeking an Aggregate Sales professional for the Northern Idaho area. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing customer relationships to maximize volumes and profitability of concrete and aggregate sales.

You will call on customers, market services to new accounts, prepare quotes, and coordinate with internal teams to address opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Experience in sales, aggregate production or concrete preferred but not required.
• Proficient with basic computer applications.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Make direct calls to customers and assist with pricing, orders and training.
• Market products to new accounts including contractors and government agencies.
• Prepare quotes/bids and discuss costs with internal staff.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and monitor product quality during delivery.
• Attend seminars and read trade publications to stay informed.
• Deliver aggregate samples when required.
• Report billing or delivery concerns and coordinate with departments.
