Socket.dev is seeking an Aggregate Quality Control Technician to perform hourly testing of aggregates and ensure compliance with quality and size specs in a fast-paced quarry setting. You will operate lab equipment, collect field samples, document results, and collaborate with production teams to adjust plant settings and maintain safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must perform hourly testing of aggregates to verify quality and size specs.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining lab equipment and recording results.
• Ability to collect field samples and ensure traceability.
• Maintain documentation in spreadsheets and quality databases.
• Support audits and comply with state standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform hourly gradation testing including sieve analysis, moisture, and specific gravity.
• Collect representative samples from quarry faces and stockpiles.
• Document results and prepare quality reports.
• Work with production teams to address material inconsistencies.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and calibration; follow safety policies.
