Job summary

Payne + Dolan Inc., a Walbec Group Company, is seeking an Aggregate Operator in Franklin/Waukesha, WI to support mining operations producing aggregate and construction materials. You will operate and maintain equipment, load materials, and help with plant maintenance while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to join the union. CDL with Tanker is encouraged within 1 year of employment; commitment to varied hours and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Have the ability to work varied hours early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Union member are required or willingness to become a member; HR can assist.
• Willing to obtain CDL with Tanker within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with Foreman and Mine Management during daily inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation cleanup.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor, cutting, fabricating and welding.
• Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting.
• Use equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, skid steer loaders, water trucks, graders, man lifts, dozers and excavators.
• Other duties as assigned.
