Job summary

Payne & Dolan, Inc. in Waukesha, WI is seeking an experienced Stationary Aggregate Operator to join its mining operations producing aggregate and construction materials.

You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot plant equipment, including crushers, screens, and wash plants, and coordinate with Foreman on daily site needs. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver's license, and a High School diploma or GED; union membership is encouraged.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of aggregate/mining experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred; CDL with Tanker within 1 year.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours.
  • Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to join.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
  • Communicate site issues with Foreman and Mine Management during daily inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly work site including cleanup with shovels and skid steer.
  • Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor, cutting, welding.
  • Follow safety procedures and incident reporting.
  • Operate loaders, haul trucks, skid steer loaders, water trucks, graders, lifts, dozers and excavators.
  • Other duties as assigned.
