Job summary

Payne & Dolan, Inc., a Walbec Group Company, seeks an Aggregate Operator in Waukesha, WI. The role involves mining operations to produce aggregate and construction materials, operating haul trucks and loaders, and assisting in plant maintenance and load-out of finished product.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in the field, a valid driver’s license, and are willing to join the local union. CDL with Tanker is a bonus and overtime/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in aggregate/mining environments.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours.
• Union membership encouraged; willingness to join.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mobile equipment.
• Communicate plant site issues with Foreman and Mine Management while performing daily inspections.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work site including shoveling and skid steer operation clean up.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs including labor work, cutting, fabricating and welding.
• Follow proper safety procedures, including incident reporting.
• Use equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, skid steer loaders, water trucks, graders, man lifts, dozers and excavators.
• Other duties as assigned.
