Job Summary:

Maintain the plant by performing routine maintenance tasks (lubrication, repairs) and cleaning (shoveling, washing with high-pressure hoses, operating skid steer loaders). Operate and maintain various equipment safely, including front-end loaders, haul trucks, graders, water trucks, service trucks, and skid steer loaders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lubricate all plant and fleet equipment, requiring lifting of containers (~50 lbs.) and adding fluids, noting additions on equipment sheets.
• Replace machine parts weighing several hundred pounds.
• Perform pre-startup inspections, which may involve climbing on or over equipment.
• Operate various equipment safely.
• Work at heights and in tight spaces as needed.

Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to safety procedures.
• Availability to work weekends and long hours during peak seasons.
• Drug and alcohol-free.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round.
• Mechanical proficiency.
• 1-2 years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of welding, cutting, and fabrication is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid CDL license.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Sit or stand for extended periods.
• Perform various physical activities including reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Work in high and confined spaces.
